Martha Pace Swift Gallery Suspend belief at the new exhibit: Larry Caveney: The Party Whites and Other Works. Opening Night also features videos by the artist in the Expressive Arts Institute Studio.

San Diego Watercolor Society Gallery The More Things Change~ A special juried showing of 95 artists from the U.S. and around the world, representative of some of the best water-media artists working today.

Pulse Gallery San Diego Fine Art Society debuts its new gallery with Alexander Salazar Fine Art, the exclusive US representative of Chinese master sculptor Xiaoye Sun.
Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilts + Textiles – “The Art of the Stitch”  14 artists from across the United States presents a range of contemporary hand and machine embroidery from small personal works to large dramatic pieces. “Close Up: San Diego Visions Artists”  8 San Diego artists who have exhibited throughout the United States present recent contemporary art quilts. “Leaves & Trees”  features 12 inch square quilts by Visions members as a fundraiser for the museum.

Recreation Music Center @ Studio 100  LIVE MUSIC – Student performances spanning a variety of styles from classical, jazz, pop and rock to West African Drumming demonstrations. Music starts at 6:30.
United States Karate Academy Martial Arts class from 5-6:30pm. The public is welcome to watch.
