Friday, October 5th, 5pm -10 pm NTC at Liberty Station is hosting a very special Friday Night Liberty. Joins us as we launch Fall for the Arts, a month-long celebration of arts and culture in San Diego County. This great evening will feature:

  • Free open art studios and galleries including pulse gallery, San Diego Watercolor Society, Casa Valencia Galeria Baja, Ballast Point Gallery, Women’s Museum of California, Visions Art Museum, Sophies’s Gallery  and more.
  • Free music and dance performances.
  • ART BOXED SD: A PODS® PROJECT, an immersive art experience inside a PODS, Inc. storage containers created by local contemporary artists.
  • Live screening of GIRL WALK ALL DAY and DJ Set presented by the Pacific Arts Movement.
  • Food trucks with great grub.

The Artist’s Way group now forming at Bravo

Facilitated by Artist Jill Hall

Start off the new year by discovering and recovering your creative self. This powerful 12-week course is for novices and working artists of all types including writers, visual artists, actors, dancers and musicians. In a supportive and safe setting you’ll encounter a myriad of experiences that will tap your imagination and increase productivity. Weekly readings, exercises and discussions will propel you toward a more fulfilling life. Bring a copy of The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and an 11” by 9” unlined sketch diary. No previous arts experience required. Class will not meet on March 1. Please register by January 12.

Located in the heart of the newly restored Barracks 19 Art & Design Center at NTC Promenade in Liberty Station, Bravo School of Art provides the finest in hands-on art education in a creative, supportive and safe environment for children and adults. Bravo School of Art’s 1-day workshops are the perfect venue for busy people to get creative without the long-term commitment of time and money. Taught by experienced and highly qualified, working artists who are eager to share their skills, these workshops provide students with the creative outlet they’ve been seeking. No previous art training is necessary.
